Satori Montessori creates a warm and secure environment in a home-like setting. The word Satori means a moment of awakening or deep understanding — a beautiful reflection of the Montessori philosophy, where the child experiences self-discovery through purposeful work and exploration. Our school is solely and especially designed for the needs of the young child. During their years here, they develop social and cognitive skills that give them a firm foundation upon which each child can begin creating the person they will become.
We foster independence, confidence, love of learning and most importantly to build respect for self, others and the environment. Our Montessori curriculum shapes an individualized program for each child according to his/her own interest, learning style and natural pace. Our children learn that school is

About the Founder
Dhvena is the founder of Satori Montessori, a space born from a deeply personal journey and a lifelong connection with children.
Her interest in Montessori began at home, watching her younger sister attend a Montessori school. This early exposure sparked a curiosity about the child’s development and led her to explore the different planes of development as described by Maria Montessori.
Dhvena has completed all levels of AMI training, including:
Assistants to Infancy (0–3) – Mumbai
Casa dei Bambini (3–6) – Mumbai
Elementary (6–12) – Arizona, USA
Adolescents (12–18) – Kodaikanal, India
Her journey with teaching began at the age of 14, and since then, she has continued to work closely with children across age groups, deepening her understanding of their needs and potential.
Beyond the classroom, Dhvena brings a sense of curiosity and joy to her work — she enjoys solving Rubik’s cubes and has always dreamed of building her own school.
Satori Montessori is a reflection of that dream — one that began at home with her sister and has now grown into a larger vision. She is deeply passionate about creating a prepared environment that supports the whole child, while also building a strong, connected, and aware community.
